01About the role

Between a signed contract and a live site sits everything this role owns: number porting and call routing, PMS/RIS integration, site configuration, protocol setup with our clinical engineer, testing, and the go-live itself. A clinic’s phone line cannot have a bad day — implementations here are engineered, not improvised.

You’ll run several implementations in parallel, each with a practice manager on the other side who has never deployed AI before. The technical work is real — SIP trunks, API integrations, data mapping — and so is the orchestration: cutover plans, rollback plans, and communication that keeps everyone calm.

This role is fully remote within Australia, with occasional travel for complex go-lives.

02What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end site implementations: kickoff, telephony setup (porting, forwarding, SIP), integration, configuration, testing, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Build and maintain PMS/RIS integrations per site — appointment types, rosters, modality mapping, referrer data.
  • Write cutover and rollback plans for every go-live; run them without drama.
  • Debug across the whole chain — carrier, telephony platform, our stack, the clinic’s PMS — and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Turn every implementation into repeatability: runbooks, tooling requests, automation.
  • Hand over cleanly to customer success with documented site configuration.

03What you'll bring

  • 3+ years in technical implementation, solutions engineering, integration engineering, or similar customer-facing technical delivery.
  • Hands-on integration skills: REST APIs, webhooks, data mapping; comfortable with scripting (Python/TypeScript) and reading logs.
  • Experience with telephony or another unforgiving infrastructure domain — porting, routing, DNS, payments, or similar.
  • Project discipline: you run multiple concurrent deployments with dates people can trust.
  • Excellent written communication with non-technical customers.
  • Australian work rights; remote within AU with occasional site travel.

04Nice to have

None of these are required — they're bonuses, not filters.

  • Direct PMS/RIS experience (Karisma, Comrad, Voyager, Genie, Zedmed, Best Practice).
  • VoIP/SIP specifics: trunk configuration, number porting in Australia, call routing platforms.
  • Healthcare data handling awareness (APPs, data residency).
  • Prior startup delivery experience where the runbook didn’t exist until you wrote it.

05What we offer

  • $120k–$155k AUD plus equity.
  • Genuinely flexible hours built around a calm, senior team — no performative overtime.
  • Hardware of your choice and a home-office budget.
  • Four weeks leave plus a company-wide end-of-year shutdown.
  • A seat at the table while the company is still small enough that your opinion sets direction.
