Introducing TriageVoice

The voice agent that answers every inbound call in two rings — on phone, on web, with emergency-aware handoff.

TriageVoice is the first surface most clinics will deploy from the Triagents platform — and the one with the most immediate operational impact.

What it does

TriageVoice picks up every inbound call within two rings. It identifies intent on the first exchange — booking, FAQ, referring-GP escalation, emergency, or human-handoff — and routes accordingly. Around 85% of routine traffic resolves without ever touching a human.

The 15% that need a person? They land at reception with full context already captured. No re-keying. No “can you repeat that”. No second-guessing the intake.

What’s different

A few specific things that distinguish TriageVoice from generic voice AI:

  • Per-clinic emergency vocabulary. Each clinic configures which words trigger immediate human handoff — typically within 1–2 seconds.
  • Referring-GP recognition. A doctor calling about a patient is not the same as a patient calling about an appointment. TriageVoice routes them on different paths.
  • Web voice. The same agent handles phone calls and the “Talk to us now” button on the clinic website. Patients on mobile get the same intelligence as patients on a landline.
  • SMS confirmation in real time. Every booking generates a confirmation SMS before the call ends.

What it isn’t

It isn’t a generic IVR with a friendly voice. It isn’t an offshore call centre with a quicker response time. It’s a clinical-triage layer that happens to speak — built for the way medical practices actually run.
