Introducing TriageChat

The embedded chat widget for every patient who'd rather type than call. Same triage intelligence, different door.

TriageChat is the second surface from the Triagents platform. It’s an embedded widget that sits on the clinic website and handles bookings, cancellations, reschedules, and FAQs — for the patients who’d rather type than call.

Why this surface matters

A growing slice of patients — and not just digital natives — would rather type a three-line booking request than navigate a phone tree at 9:02am on a Monday morning. Without TriageChat, that traffic either bounces to the contact form (which a human has to triage later) or disappears.

With TriageChat, those patients book themselves. The clinic website becomes a fully active booking surface, 24/7, with no app download and no login.

The same brain as TriageVoice

The key thing about TriageChat is that it shares the triage layer with TriageVoice. The same escalation rules. The same emergency vocabulary. The same per-clinic configuration. If a patient mid-chat says “I’m having chest pain”, the conversation is handed off to a live human in the same 1–2 seconds we promise on voice.

And if a patient says “actually, can I just speak to someone” — we patch the chat directly to the reception phone with full transcript context. No re-keying.

After-hours

The single most impactful thing TriageChat does is capture bookings while the clinic is closed. Most clinic websites have a contact form that fills up overnight and gets triaged the next morning. TriageChat instead resolves those bookings live — patients leave the site with a confirmed slot and an SMS in hand.
